Popular motivational speaker Vivek Bindra is now at the center of a legal controversy, facing allegations of domestic violence filed by his brother-in-law, Vaibhav Kwatra. The incident unfolded in Supernova West Residency, Sector 94, Noida, where Bindra resides with his family.
The disturbing incident, which occurred on December 7, 2023, was brought to light by a video that surfaced, capturing a heated argument between Vivek Bindra and his wife Yanika near the entry gate of their residential society. The case was subsequently registered at the Sector 126 police station on December 14.
According to the FIR filed by Vaibhav Kwatra, Vivek Bindra and Yanika were married on December 6, 2023, at LaLiT Mangar Hotel. The complaint alleges that on December 7, Vivek Bindra locked Yanika in a room, verbally abused her, and physically assaulted her, leaving her with visible wounds on her body. Yanika, who is currently receiving treatment at Kailash Deepak Hospital in Kadakadduma, Delhi, is reportedly experiencing hearing difficulties and dizziness due to a head injury. Additionally, her phone was reportedly broken during the altercation.
The complainant, Vaibhav Kwatra, residing in Ghaziabad, recounted the harrowing incident, stating, “Vivek Bindra indulged in an argument with his mother, and when my sister Yanika intervened, he took her inside the room, locked the door, and subjected her to abuse and physical assault.”
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, with a senior officer confirming that an FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including voluntarily causing hurt, grievous hurt, mischief causing damage, and intentional insult with the intent to provoke a breach of peace.
Vivek Bindra, known for his significant following on YouTube and Instagram and as the CEO of Bada Business Private Limited (BBPL), is also facing allegations of involvement in a scam. Another prominent Indian motivational speaker and YouTuber, Sandeep Maheshwari, released a video titled “Big Scam Expose” on his YouTube channel, presenting testimonials from students who claim to have been deceived by Vivek Bindra’s company. Bindra, however, has denied all allegations.
