Shiv Sena Leader Abhishek Ghosalkar’s Murder on Facebook Live Reveals Twisted Tale of Revenge

The murder of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Abhishek Ghosalkar on Facebook Live, shedding light on a meticulously planned act of revenge.

The prime suspect, Mauris Noronha, known as Mauris ‘Bhai’, was not only a poker player but also a philanthropist with a positive reputation for aiding the underprivileged during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Noronha’s return to Mumbai from Los Angeles took a sinister turn when he decided to contest the upcoming corporator elections.

However, his aspirations faced resistance from Abhishek Ghosalkar, the son of a prominent Shiv Sena UBT leader.

The situation escalated as Noronha found himself entangled in legal troubles, including a rape case, leading to his arrest.

Suspecting Ghosalkar’s hand in his legal woes, Noronha allegedly hatched a plan to exact revenge.

The investigation reveals that Noronha attempted to win Ghosalkar’s trust by putting up banners in his area. On the fateful evening, Noronha called Ghosalkar to his office, suggesting they distribute sarees to women and reconcile for the greater good.

Under the guise of a Facebook Live session to announce their reconciliation, Noronha shocked viewers by ruthlessly shooting Ghosalkar multiple times with a pistol belonging to his bodyguard, Amarendra Mishra.

The investigation further unveils that the weapon, made at an ordnance factory, had its license in Mishra’s name.

Following the gruesome act, Noronha retreated to the mezzanine floor of his office, where he took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot.

The police, suspecting a premeditated murder, have recorded statements from Noronha’s family members, including his wife, mother, and daughter.

Noronha’s post-conviction statements, in which he stated that he would not “spare” Ghosal, suggest a well-oiled campaign of revenge. Not only has Ghosal’s death exposed the dark underside of political rivalry, but it has also raised questions about what lengths people will go to for power and revenge.
