Union Minister Jitendra Singh has declared a half-day holiday for all central government offices on January 22. The decision is in connection with the ‘Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony set to take place in Ayodhya on the same day.
This announcement allows government officials to actively participate or witness the historic event of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, earlier today, revealed commemorative postage stamps dedicated to the Ram Mandir and a book featuring stamps related to Lord Ram from across the globe. This symbolic gesture underscores the national importance of the upcoming event.
Beyond central government offices, several states have also declared holidays, emphasizing the widespread enthusiasm and joy surrounding the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Ayodhya is buzzing with preparations for the “Pran Pratishtha” of the Ram Mandir scheduled for January 22. Dignitaries such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are expected to grace the mega event along with other special invitees.
The lead-up rituals to the ‘pran pratishtha’ commenced on January 16, with the grand ceremony slated for January 22, between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm.
Noteworthy is the exclusive list of VIP and VVIP attendees, exceeding 7,000, who have been invited to partake in the inaugural ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds the central role as the “yajman” during this auspicious occasion.
Ensuring the safety of all attendees, Ayodhya has implemented stringent security measures, including multi-layered security checks and controlled access to the temple complex.
