Prashanth Neel’s latest directorial venture, Salaar has a staggering box office collection of Rs 175 crore globally on its opening day. The film, applauded for its epic scale, Prashanth Neel’s dynamic storytelling, and stellar performances from the cast, has already secured its place as a blockbuster.

Internet users across the globe have dubbed Salaar as the ‘most violent film of the year,’ dethroning Animal, which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Bobby Deol.

Prabhas, the lead actor, revealed insights into his transformation for Salaar, stating, “I haven’t done anything special; Prashanth wanted me to build muscles for the character, so I changed myself accordingly. There was not much transformation that I have done in the last 21 years.”

Clocking in at 2 hours and 55 minutes, Salaar earned an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board, attesting to its intense and gritty content. The film boasts numerous bloody combat scenes, high-octane violence, and epic battle sequences, contributing to its formidable scale and cinematic impact. Salaar made an astounding Box office collection breaking all the bars.

While the estimated budget of Salaar hovers between Rs 300-400 crore, a substantial portion has been allocated to the cast, particularly the lead actor, Prabhas. According to a report the Baahubali sensation has pocketed a whopping Rs 100 crore as his remuneration. Other notable payouts include Rs 4 crore each for Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rs 8 crore for lead actress Shruti Haasan, and a hefty Rs 50 crore for writer-director Prashanth Neel.

Khabarr, in its review, bestowed Salaar with 3.7 stars, commending Prashanth Neel for delivering yet another captivating narrative. The film is described as a commercial entertainer that seamlessly weaves heroism, rugged characters, and larger-than-life storytelling. Despite a sense of déjà vu with the KGF franchise, Salaar’s emotional depth and compelling narrative earn it high marks.
