The web series takes the audience on a journey through the dark underworld of murder of animals and the devastating impact of animal trafficking.
The plot revolves around a group of Indian Forest Service officers, NGO workers, police constables, and courageous individuals who risk their lives to dismantle an ivory poaching ring.
Filmed in the dense forests of Kerala and the remaining forests of Delhi, ‘Poacher’ exposes the brutal reality of elephants being hunted for their tusks. The ivory obtained from these tusks is then used for crafting jewelry, chess sets, figurines, and more, contributing to the endangerment of these majestic creatures.
