Indian Family Found Dead in California At Their $2 Million Mansion

An Indian-origin family residing in California was found dead at their $2.1 million home, which they purchased in 2020.

The victims have been identified as Anand Sujith Henry, 42, a software engineer, his wife Alice Priyanka, 40, a senior analyst, and their 4-year-old twin children Noah and Neithan. 

Anand, a former Software Engineering Manager at Meta and Google, and Alice, a senior analyst, were both IT professionals. Anand started his own start-up based on artificial intelligence, Logits, after leaving his position at Meta in June last year.

The family, originally from Kerala, India, had been living in the United States for the past nine years. Having relocated from New Jersey to San Mateo County two years ago. They were well-integrated into the community, neighbors and colleagues.

Police found Anand and Alice lifeless with gunshot wounds in a bathroom, while the lifeless bodies of the twin children were discovered in a bedroom. A 9mm pistol and a loaded magazine were recovered from the bathroom.

Despite their apparent happy exterior, court records reveal a troubled past, as Anand had filed for divorce in December 2016. However, the separation did not materialize in court.

The San Mateo County’s Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) has taken charge of the case, collaborating with the San Mateo County Crime Lab to gather evidence. The bodies are in the custody of the San Mateo County Coroner.
